Millie is an original Managing Member, founder, and Chief Operating Officer of FilmsVerité, created to produce feature films, commercials, and other film and video productions, including the feature film “Sorrow,” which she wrote and directed. “Sorrow” was completed in July, 2014. She studied cinema and film production at the renown New York Film Academy in Manhattan, and learned by doing in writing, directing and producing several short films before
“Sorrow.” Short films included such titles as “Risky Behavior,” “Khodahafez,” and “Hell’s Real,” and she assisted in editing “The Legend of Dark Horse Country.” Her next film is entitled “In Dreams,” a ghost story of a young girl killed in New York’s Grand Central Terminal, and set for filming of the first scenes in New York in Spring of 2015.
John is an original Managing Member, founder, and the Chief Executive Officer of FilmsVerite’.
John has a business administration and two law degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, Texas, and has extensive experience in corporate and business management and in legal matters affecting corporate and business ventures. He has served as Senior Counsel for the National Broadcasting Company in New York City, and as general counsel for large and medium sized corporations, including the Gimbel Brothers Corporation in New York and the Howell Corporation in Houston. In addition, he has written numerous feature length screenplays, many of which have received awards and have been optioned by movie producers but not previously produced. He wrote the original story and screenplay for “In Dreams,” now re-written with Millie Loredo, which is the story of a young girl killed in New York’s Grand Central Terminal who returns as a ghost seeking revenge. Filming of its first scenes is set to begin in New York City in Spring of 2015.
